The left hand side images are pinhole images. The halo effect of a zone plate is obvious when the light condition is in high contrast |

The light bulb is only 15W, exposure time for the pinhole is about 45 minutes and that for the zone plate is 18 minutes. The halo effect of the zone plate is not strong due to dim light conditions and long exposure time. |
||
|
The whole scene is softened by zone plate which enriches the artistic atmosphere of the image. |
