How to Make an Oat Meal Tin Camera |
Now you can add the shutter to the camera. We use the same self-adhesive felt paper (without removing the backing paper) for the shutter. You can use any paper you like. |
Step 10: |
1. Cut a piece of felt paper (or other paper) about 1/3 the height of the tin, and with a length which is about 2cm longer than the diameter of the tin. |
2. Wrap the felt paper over the tin, fixing it with one or two rubber bands. Make sure that you can slide the felt paper smoothly, so that it will rest in a stable fixed position, and it will not slide down by itself. Below are pictures showing the camera with the shutter closed and opened. |
3. Now the camera is ready to use. If you like the original graphic of your tin, you can stop here and start taking photos. If you want to add your own design to the camera, go on to the next step. |
