Combining the two artists’ passion for pinhole photography and travel, Marion Wheeler & Amber Matthews invite you to explore present day destinations free from clutter, using long exposures and unusual angles to provide a more abstract view on traditional subjects. With only a pinhole controlling the aperture of their hand-made wooden cameras and no viewfinder to compose through, Wheeler Matthews rely simply on intuition to capture their intriguing images from journeys in Australia, Cambodia, China, Hawaii, Malaysia, Myanmar, Portugal, Singapore & Thailand.
