I am a professor of geography and have been shooting 35mm slides for
twenty-five years - for teaching purposes and as a more
"photographic" pursuit.  Pinhole photography has provided a way for
me to explore and enjoy "less-in-control" aspects of photography - a
balance to the "careful framing and best resolution possible" goals
in my 35mm work.  The only similarity is that I prefer maximum
depth-of-field.  I started taking pinhole pictures two years ago, but
until the Zero 2000 arrived, my work was Polaroid based.
