Installation of Filter Adapter
To install the filter adapter, you may need the following tools:
1. Ruler for positioning;
2. Screw driver;
3. Power drill or hand drill;
4. Ø2.5mm drill bit;
5. Centering tool: needle
& hole starter
With the help of a ruler, locate the filter adatper so it is align center with the pinhole (at the center of the camera). For Zero 2000, the filter adapter cannot touch the cable release adapter otherwise it will cause drag and the cable adatper release adapter will fail to work.
Use the filter adapter as a template, mark the center of the hole with a needle.
To avoid the hole from shifting during drilling, use a center spot/hole starter to enlarge the hole before drilling.
Use a 2.5mm drill bit to drill the hole at a depth of no more than 6-6.5mm.
Use the filter adatper as a guide, install the screw that comes with the filter adapter, do not over-tighten the screw or it will damage the wood!
Do the same for the other holes and the installation is finished.
For Zero 2000 cameras, you need to replace the center screw which hold the wooden shutter before the installation of the filter adapter. The head of this screw should be filed flat.
